On this grand Uganda wildlife safari, you visit Uganda’s premier wildlife parks on an epic safari experience. This tour will let you explore the western tourism circuit, for the best game viewing wildlife moments. On the 8 days of this wildlife safari in Uganda, you will visit Murchison Falls National Park known for its dramatic water falls where the Nile forces itself through a 7m gorge and finally falling off 40m into the “Devil’s Cauldron”, its Northern bank is one of the best game track with a rich blend of savannas characterized by Borassus palms, Acacia trees and Riverine woodland hosting wildlife in harmony.
You also visit Queen Elizabeth national park known for its tree climbing Lions in Ishasha sector and Hippo population, along the famous Kazinga channel as well as visiting Lake Mburo national park known for its rich blend of habitats.

Note: On your day of arrival for this Uganda wildlife safari, you will be gladly received by our guide at Entebbe International Airport and be transferred to your overnight accommodation in Kampala. Day 01: Departure to Murchison Falls National Park [Approximately 7 hour drive]
Leave for Murchison Falls National Park after breakfast at the hotel in Kampala. Detour to the wilds of Ziwa where you will track the White Rhinos; a member of Africa’s Big Five. The activity is done on foot with a ranger guide, expect to come across a number of other mammals and wildlife. Have lunch here and continue to the park at the booked accommodation.

Day 02: Launch trip, hike top of the falls and Game drive
Start this Uganda wildlife safari with breakfast and transfer to Paraa where you will set-off for a launch cruise along the Nile, to the bottom of the astonishing falls. The banks are dotted with wildlife including mammals, reptiles like the Nile crocodile as well as birds. From the boat trip, you will hike to the top of the exploding falls and this is the highlight of the visit to the park.
After lunch, go for a game drive through the northern sector game track looking out for; Rothschild’s Giraffes, Cape Buffalos, Jackson’s Hartebeests and many more.

Day 03: Game drive and transfer to Fort Portal [Approximately 7 hours drive]
Go for a short morning game drive after breakfast, keep your eyes open for more game, the early mornings present more chances to spot predators before returning to their hideouts as well as morning grazers. After the game drive, leave the park heading South wards to Fort Portal town. You will have a lunch break in Hoima and proceed later with the journey arriving in the evening, at the hotel.

Day 04: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth [About 3 hour drive], evening Game drive
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and leave Fort Portal for Queen Elizabeth, this drive rewards you with beautiful backdrop of the majestic Rwenzori Mountains; head to the lodge on arrival and check-in, have lunch here and prepare for an evening game drive around the Mweya Peninsular, an area jam-packed with mammals and birds.

Day 05: Game drive and launch trip
Have breakfast early enough and transfer to Kasenyi plains for a stunning safari drive through the pleasant savanna plains. The plains are usually spread with huge herds of Uganda Kobs, other mammals like Warthogs, the African Elephants among others.
After lunch, go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel, this is an interesting way to see wildlife as it lingers on the shores. The channel is known for its mass population of Hippopotamus and more wildlife that comes to cool off from the hot afternoons, you will see birds such as Elegant Fish Eagles and many others. Day 06: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Lake Mburo [Approximately 4 hour drive].
Start with an early breakfast and head to Kalinzu Forest to track Chimpanzees. The forest rewards you with a number of forest creatures such as birds and primates. After about 2 hours of tracking, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, breaking off en-route for lunch. Transfer to the lodge on arrival, check-in and it’s here you have dinner and overnight.

Day 07: Safari Game drive and launch cruise.
Begin with an early breakfast, transfer for a morning game drive through the Eastern hinterland to spot the wildlife variety. The park is known for hosting huge numbers of Zebras and Impalas, lookout for the elusive Klip Springer, and Buffalos among others and if lucky the new members- the Rothschild’s Giraffes.
After lunch go for a boat cruise and explore the beauty of the tranquil Lake Mburo. Expect to see Crocodiles and Hippopotamus on the voyage as well as water birds like Pelicans, Cormorants, Fish Eagle and Herons.

Day 08: Nature walk and Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe [Approximately 5 hour drive]
Have a hearty breakfast at the lodge and go for a morning guided walk around Rwonyo, leading you to the salt licks that are frequented by wildlife. Later return to the lodge, checkout and transfer back to Kampala. En-route you stop for lunch and at the equator for a water try out, photographs and souvenir shopping. Continue with the drive arriving in the evening and be transferred to the airport for your flight or be dropped off at the hotel. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch. End of Safari
