Overview:

On this trip, you will enjoy the beauty of Jinja one of the most interesting and attractive areas of Uganda. Jinja is an area gifted by nature with some of the fascinating and dramatic sites, landscapes and activities that travellers/tourists can participate in especially adventure and sightseeing with the sites offering tempting photographic memories. On the trip, you will see the beautiful Mabira rainforest, Bujagali falls, the spot where the Nile River starts its journey to the Mediterranean while on a cruise etc.

Note: On your day of arrival, you will be met and received by our guide at Entebbe International Airport and be transferred to your overnight accommodation in Kampala. Depending on your time of arrival and how you may be feeling, you can opt for a simple Kampala city tour to explore some of its iconic and remarkable landmarks/ sites.  O/N: Sheraton Hotel /Cassia lodge/ Speke Hotel; Bed & Breakfast

Day 01: Transfer to Jinja (Approx. 2 hour drive), Source of the Nile Cruise

After breakfast, you travel to Jinja branching off to Mabira forest where you will take a nature walk. Expect to see a variety of bird species, butterflies and primates like monkeys taking photos to make the best of your experience. Then you will proceed to Jinja where you have lunch and afterwards proceed to the starting point for the source of the Nile river cruise, tracing the footsteps of European explorer John Speke on the Nile, the source is where the Nile begins its journey to the Mediterranean sea, expect to see a variety of bird species.

Meal Plan: Full Board [FB].Overnight [O/N]: The Haven River lodge (luxury)/ 2 Friends Guest house (midrange)/ Nile river camp or Adrift Camp (basic).

Day 02: Tour Jinja and transfer back to Kampala (Approx. 2 hour drive)

This day you partake in half day rafting, one of the thrilling activities you can engage in on the Nile. Have lunch at the source or in Jinja town and in the afternoon embark on your drive back to Kampala. Meal Arrangement: Breakfast and Lunch. End of Safari
