3 DAYS BIRD WATCHING IN MABAMBA AND LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

Overview:

Uganda is a beautiful country with an impressive range of habitats, a factor that makes birdlife flourish and it’s indeed a birders paradise. It has an alluring diversity of bird species with more than 1060 species on its list and it’s the smallest country among Africa’s 4 countries whose bird list hits the 1000 mark, this makes Uganda by-far the best bird watching destination. The country’s bird density accounts to nearly 11% of the Global bird species.

On this birding palate, you will explore the avian life in Mabamba wetland located west of Entebbe just on the shores of Lake Victoria, it is known for the pre-historic looking Shoebill Stork; a bird sought after by birding enthusiasts. You will also bird the environs of Lake Mburo National Park, it’s a tempting birding site with 20% of its surface comprised of wetland habitats supporting over 330 species.
